Block Adobe Photoshop CC Activation using Windows HOSTS file

Block Adobe Photoshop CC activation outbound link using windows host file or firewall is a common question for everyone.

I am not a professional Graphic Designer, but sometimes I like to play with Adobe tools like Photoshop CC. As I don’t use it for professional works, I decided not to purchase it. Instead, I use the Trial version.

But almost everyone knows that Adobe allows a 30 Days Trial, then it will keep showing activation messages.

So, as a hobbyist Designer, how can I use Adobe Photoshop CC without activation? Yes, there is a way. You can use either Windows firewall to block all outbound links from Adobe, or you may also use Windows host file to block those URLs.

Today, I will not share how to block any software outbound link using Firewall because I don’t want to write a very long article. You can search on Google about how to block any software or block Adobe Photoshop CC using Windows Firewall.

Though it’s not a how-to design using Adobe photoshop, I assure you that these tricks will save your time.

Update Note: Many of my readers are asking for solutions to activate Adobe Photoshop and other adobe products like Adobe Premiere Pro, After effects, illustrator, etc. I know purchasing from the original vendor is quite expensive for us. That’s why we use almost all premium software for free. I will share the activation method below this post very soon.

By the way, You can use this method to block windows host for all Adobe software such as:

  • Adobe Creative Cloud: Any Version
  • Adobe Premiere Pro CC/CS Any Version
  • Adobe After Effects CC/CS Any Version
  • Adobe Photoshop CC/CS Any Version
  • Adobe Lightroom CC/CS Any Version
  • Adobe Illustrator CC/CS Any Version
  • Adobe InDesign: CC/CS Any Version
  • Adobe Animate: CC/CS Any Version
  • Adobe Audition: CC/CS Any Version
  • And all of the Adobe software, of course, Any Version.

And you are looking for a way to block using Windows host files, and then this article is for you. Bellow, you will get a proper way to block Adobe Photoshop CC activation using Windows host file.

Step One: First, open your notepad using Administration permission. Please search for the notepad and right-click on it to see the option to run as Administration permission.

Adobe Photoshop CC for macOS

Normally on my Macbook Pro, I don’t use any Adobe product. But due to one of the projects, I had to install Adobe Photoshop CC and Adobe Illustrator CC on macOS. I tried so many resources and ways to activate Adobe photoshop on macOS but could not. Lastly, I found an awesome resource on MacSoftBox, a life-saving Adobe photoshop with pre-activated.

You can download Adobe Photoshop CC for macOS from the MacSoftBox.com website for free.

Thanks, and wishing you the best of luck. And also, don’t forget to comment or send me an email if you need further assistance to block Photoshop CC activation using host files on windows or mac.

  13. Great that you did this. I have just done a re-install and forgot about the hosts file. So many people use TPB for software. You need this list as well as firewall.

  15. You are hero man! This works great, I did it on Mac (put it in /etc/hosts file). I’m used to pay for software, but currently I do not make any money from it, so it would be overkill. It even allows to continue to upgrade the all applications!
